Two 205/70-15 all-terrain tyres on the rear axle and one 175/65-15 off-road tyre on the front axle are sufficient to make the TWIKE 5 suitable for dunes with five centimetres more ground clearance. Admittedly, the wheel arch linings are also modified, as they are screwed but easy to replace. Even in the basic version, a limited slip differential prevents the drive wheels from spinning uncontrollably and the higher power and high-frequency drive control combined with speed sensors on all three wheels promise controlled acceleration on sand and other slippery terrain. It is only one of the possible modifications from the new TWIKE 5 construction kit. However, we find you very successful and are already in the mood for a longer tour, which can also lead off the beaten track. What do you think?
