TWIKE 3 record ride: 1470 kilometers

Congratulations! TWIKE pioneer Thomas Bechtiger and his team have set a new range record of 1470 km. Without recharging once, the TWIKE drove the equivalent of three times through the Gotthard to Chiasso and back in Switzerland.

Ferdi Kaiser has already covered 170,000 kilometers in his TWIKE. For this distance, the vehicle required 8500 kilowatt hours of electrical energy, which corresponds to around 850 liters of petrol or diesel.
