Although the success of our investment campaign is already impressive, it is not yet sufficient. To put it in school terms: this time, we are aiming for a very good result!
We would very much like to avoid Plan B, which was discussed in the pitch (min. 53:18). We are just as impatient as those who have pre-ordered and want to get the 500 TWIKEs on the road and delivered as quickly as possible.
The TWIKE has been a community project from the very beginning. It was developed and built by those who wanted to ride it. Its further development has always been driven by ideas and input from the TWIKE community. It was only logical to organize the financial support for the development process together with the TWIKE community. Because we want it to remain your project and ours. After selling over 1,000 units of the TWIKE 3, the TWIKE 5 is now in the final stages of development and is scheduled to be launched in early 2023 as a limited series of 500 vehicles.
Den im Pitch (Min 53:18) diskutierten Plan B möchten wir nur zu gerne vermeiden. Wir sind genauso ungeduldig wie die Vorbesteller und wollen die 500 TWIKE schnellstmöglich auf die Räder stellen und ausliefern.
Das TWIKE war von Beginn an ein Gemeinschaftsprojekt. Entwickelt und gebaut haben das TWIKE die, die es fahren wollten. Auch die Weiterentwicklung hat immer Impulse und Ideen aus der Gemeinde der TWIKE Piloten aufgegriffen. Nur folgerichtig war es, auch die finanzielle Unterstützung des Entwicklungsprozesses zusammen mit der TWIKE Community zu organisieren. Denn wir wollen, dass es Dein und unser Projekt bleibt. Nach dem Verkauf von über 1.000 Exemplaren des TWIKE 3 befindet sich jetzt das TWIKE 5 in der Endphase der Entwicklung und soll Anfang 2023 als limitierte Serie von 500 Fahrzeugen auf den Markt kommen.
There are already more than 1,600 concrete prospective buyers. Over 4.8 million euros in advance payments have already been made. A more affordable TWIKE 6 model is being planned and will be launched on the market in larger quantities from 2024. We have FunderNation, an investment platform for innovative technology companies, as our partner for financing the final development and production of the TWIKE 5 and have exceeded the funding threshold in a short space of time.
