When will the TWIKE 5 be available to buy?
The TWIKE 5 will only be produced in a small series of 500 vehicles. As demand is significantly higher than supply, we have devised a fair and transparent system:
- Make a non-binding reservation for the TWIKE 5 via our website. With your reservation you will automatically be included in our online ranking . To see your ranking directly, please send us a nickname. You will see that you are now ranked higher than 500. Congratulations, you are now one of the first TWIKE 6 candidates, because as our TWIKE 5 is limited to 500, all further pre-orders are already earmarked for the TWIKE 6.
- You still want a TWIKE 5? Then convert your non-binding reservation into a non-binding pre-order. The relevant documents will be sent to you after you have made your reservation. An advance order is possible from €1,000 and can be topped up several times. At the current time (May 2024), an advance payment of €1,000 or more is sufficient to be among the top 500 in the online ranking. This is based on the cumulative interest (5%) of your advance payment.
- We invite the first 500 applicants to take a test drive. They will then have the opportunity to convert the non-binding advance order into a binding order. A binding order is possible after the test drive in combination with an increase in the advance payment to an as yet unspecified minimum advance payment.
- We look forward to welcoming you as a TWIKE 5 pilot in the near future.
How is the construction of the first prototypes and the start of series production planned?
Initially, three prototypes will be built. We will useone for the approval process, a second for the test drives and the third to define the work processes in final assembly.
The limited series of 500 TWIKE 5 is planned to be built up within a period of one year after the shortest possible ramp-up curve.

Does the test drive prototype already correspond 1:1 to the series production model?
This is what we are aiming for. It will at least be able to reproduce the driving experience well and will be decisive for a decision on a binding pre-order.
When is it possible to test drive the TWIKE 5?
For capacity reasons, we have decided to carry out the first test rides in the TWIKE 5 prototype with the first 500 TWIKE 5 pre-orders. We will follow the order of the online ranking and invite small groups to Rosenthal and / or another, as yet undetermined location.

In which order will the TWIKE 5 be delivered?
Delivery is based on our online ranking.
When is the final purchase price due?
The final invoice will be issued when the TWIKE 5 is delivered and only then will the purchase price be due. Before delivery and after a test drive with a near-production prototype, the pre-order will be converted into a binding order. Upon conversion into an order, an as yet undetermined minimum advance payment is due (less the €1,000 already paid for the pre-order). Irrespective of this, a higher advance payment can also be made voluntarily. This bears interest at 5% and the interest income is shown as a discount on the purchase price.
Is there a price list in other currencies?
The purchase price is shown in euros.
What about registration outside Germany?
The TWIKE 5 is supplied with an EU approval that is recognized throughout the EU and beyond.
Is the delivery made via an importer or directly?
The purchase process for the TWIKE 5 will take place directly. We will of course provide support with import processing, e.g. to Switzerland.
