The TWIKE 5 electric vehicle is set to replace the Twike 3. At first glance, it looks like a car, although like its predecessor it is a tricycle.
With 6 square meters of solar cells, the TWIKE 5 can already travel 15,000 km a year powered solely by solar energy.
Taking a pedal car onto the highway sounds like a ¬dead man’s ride, but not so with the Twike 5. This human-electric hybrid tricycle is equipped with a safety cage for its occupants and reaches speeds of up to 190 km/h.

The TWIKE is this incredible electric tricycle whose range can be extended by activating the on-board pedals. Forget the old figures, though: the TWIKE 5 should be able to reach speeds of 190 km/h and a range of 500 kilometres!
With the TWIKE 5, FINE Mobile GmbH shows that electromobility can not only be clean, but also beneficial to health. With its pedal drive and electric motor, the 500-kilogramme tricycle can reach speeds of up to 200 km/h.
“The shift to electric will open up all sorts of new vehicle categories – and we found this one super interesting. The Twike 5 is kind of like a pedal-assist ebike, except it’s a fully enclosed car capable of 120 mph speeds and 310-mile range figures while letting you sneak in a bit of exercise.”
