Trunk capacity: 372 liters. That’s the new figure listed in the TWIKE 5’s technical specifications. The increase in volume of approximately 72 liters is the result of aerodynamic optimization of the vehicle’s rear end. The rearview mirror has been moved back 10 cm, and the longer loading area now comfortably accommodates the safe transport of two Euroboxes measuring 600x400x320 mm. Small storage compartments have been created to the right and left behind the wheel wells. Globetrotters also benefit from the larger lying surface, which now measures up to 1900×800 mm.
Even without the optional trailer hitch, the TWIKE concept thus demonstrates the high utility value specified in the requirements.
