The selected image only showed an iPad clamped to the pipe. With this option, the audio signal is received by a Bluetooth-enabled amplifier and output via cable through the speakers installed in the vehicle. However, there is also a DIN slot behind the iPad, which could theoretically accommodate a “normal” car radio as an alternative. However, this is only another alternative, as the standard radio provides for a hidden installation of a radio module in this DIN slot. Instead of the iPad shown last, the corresponding control panel is mounted on the tube.
This radio with touchscreen display has Apple’s iOS CarPlay and Android Auto built in. In this case, navigation is displayed on the mobile phone screen and sound is generated by the radio module amplifier.
If there is no radio installed, a Bluetooth-enabled amplifier that receives audio signals from a smartphone can also generate sound for the speakers.
Cables are always already laid in the base, and the customer chooses one of the following options:
– without anything
– With amplifier and speaker (e.g., in combination with your own iPad)
– with touch radio
Speakers are mounted as two 2-channel models with a diameter of 130 mm on the right and left in the footwell on the outer wall. In addition, two small tweeters are integrated into the dashboard so that they are directed at the windshield at the optimum angle.
With three different varieties, there should be something to suit every taste.
