TWIKE builds new production hall

With the new hall, we are expanding our production capacity by a further 300 square meters.

The new hall was designed as a timber-frame construction and meets an increased thermal insulation standard with a wall thickness of 24 cm and cellulose insulation. The energy required for operation is provided by a photovoltaic system mounted on the roof. Peak load coverage in winter operation is provided by a wood pellet system, which is operated in the local heating network. The existing solar systems at the Rosenthal site already generate four times more energy than is consumed during operation. The hall extension is necessary because more space will be required for the logistics and production processes of TWIKE 5 from the end of the year.
