FALCON FRONT – When Airflow Determines the Shape

Tagged:

  • TWIKE Team

twike-falcon-frontThe Falcon Front was developed to meet several technical requirements: aerodynamics, fresh air intake, component structure, manufacturability, and design must all work together at the front of the vehicle.
The pronounced central beak-like edge splits the airflow early on and directs it specifically under or along the vehicle. The two air intakes are deliberately positioned relatively high in the high-pressure zone to draw in the cleanest possible fresh air.
The shape thus follows not only a stylistic concept but, above all, its function.
What do you think of this approach—both technically and in terms of design?
