People are interested in the TWIKE for a wide variety of reasons.
Some appreciate the driving dynamics, while others value the high energy efficiency, the light weight, the option to pedal, or simply the unique vehicle concept.
But are these features really the reasons why we want to drive a TWIKE?
Maybe it’s worth taking a closer look.
What lies behind our desires?
Let’s take mileage, for example.
People who want a high-performance vehicle may not actually want to drive very fast.
Perhaps it’s more about the satisfying feeling of being able to navigate traffic confidently and effortlessly at any time in an unusual vehicle.
In that case, mileage would certainly be an important product feature—but not the actual need behind it.
The same might be true for other characteristics.
People who place a high value on range may not necessarily want to drive as far as possible, but rather want to worry as little as possible about recharging.
And those who are enthusiastic about cycling may be less interested in the extra energy generated than in the opportunity to naturally incorporate exercise into their daily lives.
Of course, these are just guesses. Maybe we’re completely off the mark.
What brings us together?
For many years now, we have seen just how diverse the people who are interested in TWIKE are.
Some have been with us since the very beginning. Others have just discovered our vehicle concept.
Perhaps what unites us is the desire for a different kind of mobility. Perhaps it’s the joy of unusual technical solutions, a certain attitude toward life, or something we haven’t even thought of yet.
Perhaps there isn’t even a common motive. That, too, would be an interesting insight.
We could try to answer these questions with a traditional customer survey.
Instead, we’d like to take a different approach for now: We’re sharing our thoughts openly and inviting you to reflect on them with us.
We are also specifically interested in critical thoughts and responses that contradict our own assumptions.
This isn’t about praising the TWIKE or seeking validation for our decisions.
We’d like to better understand what really matters to you.
