Initial simulations of the efficiency of the TWIKE 5 already show lower consumption despite more than 10 times the power of the TWIKE 3. In 2018, the TWIKE 3 took part in an efficiency race at the 24h ecoGP race in Oschersleben. With a TWIKE 5, an impressive 651 laps could be covered within these 24 hours, more than 200 laps more than with the TWIKE. Very motivating!
With the finalization of another important component, we have taken a significant step forward in TWIKE 5 vehicle development. We can already reveal this much: The TWIKE 5 drive unit consisting of motor, gearbox and high-voltage inverter comes from a renowned supplier and has already proven itself in mass-produced vehicles.

The pre-order round for the TWIKE 5 has started. Initially, all reservation holders were given the opportunity to convert their reservation into a binding pre-order. The ingenious ranking system now also offers latecomers the opportunity to secure one of the limited series of 500 TWIKE 5s.
The bodyshell (body-in-white) of the TWIKE 5 is currently undergoing its foreseeable final development loop before it finally finds its way from the developers’ CAD programs to the prototype workshop in load-path and weight-optimized sheet metal shell construction. The TWIKE 5 series is limited to 500. The delivery order is based, among other things, on the time of reservation and the balance of a linked interest account.
With its electric drive system, the TWIKE 5 can achieve an impressive acceleration sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3.8 seconds. But does an electric vehicle that has already been optimized for the lowest consumption of less than 7 kWh/100 km have to demonstrate such brute acceleration manoeuvres at the same time? In our opinion, the TWIKE pilot will not want to measure the acceleration. He just wants to have enough.
Please get in. Our contribution to the mobility transition has three wheels, offers space for two people and weighs less than 500 kg. A TWIKE 3 travels over 600 km without recharging and consumes around 5 kWh/100 km. The new TWIKE 5 is also more than just a nose ahead of the automotive market. Because there is currently no vehicle in this performance class that could be as efficient on the road. For TWIKE riders and many friends, the mobility revolution is already part of everyday life.
