The first sample of a TWIKE 5 frame was built in the last few days. The individual parts of the sheet metal shell construction were first joined with screws, thus providing an opportunity for final optimization.

Initial simulations of the efficiency of the TWIKE 5 already show lower consumption despite more than 10 times the power of the TWIKE 3. In 2018, the TWIKE 3 took part in an efficiency race at the 24h ecoGP race in Oschersleben. With a TWIKE 5, an impressive 651 laps could be covered within these 24 hours, more than 200 laps more than with the TWIKE. Very motivating!
With the finalization of another important component, we have taken a significant step forward in TWIKE 5 vehicle development. We can already reveal this much: The TWIKE 5 drive unit consisting of motor, gearbox and high-voltage inverter comes from a renowned supplier and has already proven itself in mass-produced vehicles.
