2025 has shown just how close the TWIKE 5 is to being ready for series production: successful test drives, targeted aerodynamic optimizations and safeguarding decisions for the assembly process. Supported by a strong community, the focus is clearly on the start of series production from 2026.

TWIKE 5 – MILESTONES
The TWIKE 5 is in the final development phase: after successful testing of the first prototypes, ECE homologation will follow. After a final round of financing, series production will start with two vehicles per day. With the exclusive Pioneer Edition, pre-orderers can secure their reservation and benefit from attractive advantages.

TWIKE 5 – AERODYNAMICS UPDATE
With the TWIKE 5, we have significantly reduced aerodynamic drag through targeted optimization of the front and rear sections – and thus ensured a long range without the need for a larger battery. The key to this lay in the aerodynamic fine-tuning, supported by powerful simulation software. More on this soon – including figures, tools and insights!

At the test drive event in Dürnten, visitors were able to experience the TWIKE 5 live – and were impressed. Between “fitness machine and spaceship”, the vehicle opens up new perspectives for sustainable mobility.

A direct AC output in the form of a CEE and a Schuko socket integrated in the vehicle is also available. Energy from the TWIKE’s traction battery can thus be fed back into the owner’s home or taken out for other consumers.
